The Mobli team is growing! 🚌

From the busy streets of London to the snowy alpine passes of New Zealand and all sorts of destinations in between, we’re hard at work helping to get people moving. Find out about the new faces and places that make our Mobli team tick.

Rebekah McShane – Director of Operations

Bekah combines her experience in a number of start-ups with her passion for great team leadership. She loves to transform the way people view and use mobility and to help ensure sustainability is a part of how we work.

Of Ngati Kahungunu descent, Bekah’s embarked on her journey to learn more about her heritage, and aspires to create inclusive and safe environments for everyone to thrive.

Favourite food: A big fan of Japanese and Italian, although nothing quite beats fries on a hungry day.🍟

Richard Breukink – Android Developer

Richard’s background as an android developer at Roam Digital has given him a great grasp of the theoretical aspects of development. His real passion comes from applying his theoretical knowledge to building sophisticated applications and services. He’s excited to have joined Mobli on our digital transformation of the transport industry.

A keen swimmer and just a little bit competitive, Richard placed first in a recent The Mount 1250m open water swim event. He speaks English and Dutch, and his favourite food is sandwiches.🥪

Tommy Alsemgeest – Android Engineer

Tommy brings to Mobli seven years as an android engineer at Finserv, BidOne (as team lead) and at Xero where he valued the opportunity to strengthen his skills and work with a large mobile team.

An avid traveller and hiker, Tommy’s been to 13 countries so far and was supposed to visit another seven in 2020, but the pandemic put paid to that plan. He continues to check out AllTrails to discover the next worthwhile walk and is doing his best to learn te reo Māori.

Favourite food: Nachos 🧀
